Due to the current global situation I am still awaiting the arrival of my robot. This holdup is creating a massive hurdle that is holding up the progress on the development of the robot. However all is not lost!
I have completed my CAD design of the robot with as much dimensional as possible. these cad files will allow me to design my balancing attachment at a later date








In conjunction with the development of the robot I must also design and manufacture a device to launch ping pong balls over a 500ml bottle into an attachment mounted on the top of the robot as shown in this diagram below

From my theoretical calculations I have come up with three different designs



My next task will be to render these designs in CAD (this has been delayed due to technical difficulties associated with working from home) and develop working models of each of the 3 designs to see which will allow me to fire the most projectiles in 20 seconds while still having them consistently land in the same position.
